The Portrait Session
$165
Every dog has a story worth telling. This session is crafted for pet owners who want a timeless, gallery-worthy image of their beloved companion, the kind you'll hang on the wall and never stop loving.
Our Carmel studio is a world apart from the beaches and outdoor scenes the area is famous for, and intentionally so. It's a calm, carefully curated space where the focus is entirely on your dog and the art of the portrait. Choose from a classic black background or explore our color options for something a little more expressive.
Each session runs approximately 45 minutes, giving us plenty of unhurried time to capture both full-body portraits and close-up portraits of your dog's beautiful face. If you share your home with multiple dogs, we welcome them all, just note that households with more than three pets are encouraged to book two separate sessions to ensure each dog gets the attention they deserve.
This session includes one beautifully retouched digital image for $165. Additional digital files are available for $50 each.
The Connection Session

Some relationships deserve to be immortalized. This session celebrates the unique and irreplaceable connection between you and your dog, resulting in portraits that are as personal as they are beautiful.
Our Carmel studio is a world apart from the beaches and outdoor scenes the area is famous for, and intentionally so. It's a calm, carefully curated space where the focus is entirely on your dog and the art of the portrait. This session weaves together two experiences: classic portraits of your dog on their own, and intimate portraits of the two of you together. We keep the atmosphere relaxed and fun, so both you and your pup can simply enjoy the moment while we do the rest.
This session is designed for up to two people and one dog. If you have additional dogs you'd like included, households with more than three pets are encouraged to book two sessions to allow enough time for everyone.
This session includes one beautifully retouched digital image for $200. Additional digital files are available for $50 each.
After Your Session
Once we've wrapped your session, the real magic begins. Over the following few days, I'll carefully review and curate all of the images, selecting the very best for you to choose from. You'll receive a private digital album featuring approximately 15–25 images. Please keep in mind that these are watermarked, low-resolution previews and have not yet been retouched — they're simply there to help you choose your favorites.
Selecting your images is simple and intuitive, just browse your private gallery and heart any images you'd like to purchase. Your session fee covers one beautifully retouched digital image, and any additional images you fall in love with can be added at the same time. Once you've made your selections, you'll receive a single invoice covering everything together, simple and seamless. Upon receipt of payment, I'll begin the full retouching process and deliver your final images via a private download link.

Fine Art Prints & Digital Files
Your images deserve to be seen — and we offer several stunning ways to bring them to life. In addition to print-ready digital files, we offer a curated selection of fine art print options including Metal Prints, Framed Canvas, and Fine Art Prints. Each option is a beautiful way to showcase your portrait as the artwork it truly is. If you're interested in print options, just let us know and we'll guide you through the choices.
Sizing & Cropping — All images are cropped to a standard 8×10 ratio (5:4), a classic proportion that's ideal for framing and timeless in portrait photography. If you'd prefer a different crop ratio, just let me know before retouching begins. Requests to re-crop after finalization are subject to a $40/hour editing fee.
Print Quality — 300 DPI is the industry standard for high-quality printing, producing images that are crisp, detailed, and true to life. Please be aware that enlarging an image beyond its original dimensions will result in some loss of resolution and quality.
Please note that pricing does not include printed products — clients are welcome to use the print service of their choice. Unretouched RAW files are not available.

Yes! Lighting is everything when photographing a black dog – and as such I use the available light in conjunction with flash to create the perfect exposure for dogs with dark fur/hair.

In our photo studio in Carmel and at Carmel Beach and other scenic spots around Carmel-by-the-Sea.

At all costs, we want your dogs to be safe! If your dog needs to be on a lead, I can creatively remove the leash in Photoshop from any images you purchase at no additional charge.

Within one week following your session, you will receive your ONLINE GALLERY from which you can either download or purchase from a variety of fine art prints, metal or canvas art pieces, framed pieces, etc. Custom art pieces are also available.
